Just a Gigolo… (review)

…and everywhere I go, people know the part I’m playing. Paid for every dance, sellin’ each romance, every night some heart, betrayin’…

Well, this Gigolo may not be betraying any hearts – or causing me to betray any hearts – but he’s sure got my attention!

The Gigolo by Fun Factory is a large, girthy, silicone, vibrating, g-spot dream available from Eden Fantasys along with oodles of other g-spot toys.

Let’s start with the packaging, shall we? The Gigolo is from the Fun Factory G2 line. It comes in a cream and red box with a peek-a-boo window held closed with tiny magnets. Very discreet compared to a lot of sex toys.

Opening the box you find a simple instruction manual, a Fun Factory product pamphlet and a sample sized packet of Toyfluid – Fun Factory’s water based lube.

And, of course, the Gigolo himself.

Pool blue, weighing in at one pound, the Gigolo is eight and three quarter inches long with an insertable length of six and three quarter inches and a diameter of one and three quarter inches.  The shaft is made of medical grade silicone and is designed with internal and g-spot stimulation in mind.

The Gigolo runs on 2 AA batteries in a splash resistant, tightly sealed battery compartment.  (This means you can take it in the shower or run it under water but not submerge it) It can be fairly simply opened and closed by squeezing the gray area tightly until you hear a click – after which the black piece will lift easily. (See the video after this review for a hands on demonstration of the battery compartment)

The shaft is velvety smooth with an abstract phallic shape; thick at the head, then tapering a bit only to thicken again.  The bulbous head is flat on one side  – creating a large area to rub and caress the g-spot while thrusting.

The silicone is both soft and firm.  It feels thicker and nicer than jelly or elastomer.  More substantial.  And yet the toy has a lot of flexibility, bending easily at the head and getting firmer along the shaft where the motor is housed.

Speaking of the motor…

It’s damned strong, especially in a battery operated toy.  It’s situated in the shaft of the toy rather than the tip so you don’t get a lot of pinpoint stimulation but you get a whole lot of overall vroom.  Easily enough to get me off when I used it clitorally and more than enough when thrusting. The soft, thick silicone transmits vibration very, very well. This turned out to be another ejaculation inducing toy.

Vibrations are controlled by a dial at the base of the toy.  It’s an “infinite” dial in that, as the vibrations get higher and higher and you come to the maximum, it next shuts off.  Continuing to turn in the same direction starts you off at low again. So, basically, you don’t have to turn it up, then down.  You just keep turning in the same direction until you find the ideal level of vibration for you.

Levels of vibration are very, very easy to feel and set – unlike many dial toys that seem to go from low to high with a single twist.  (The dial itself is a little stiff – you can’t turn it with a single finger  - which is the only drawback I saw in the toy. ) The Gigolo has very distinct levels of amazingly quiet buzz with each little twist of the dial. And I do mean amazingly quiet.  You can barely hear this thing when you’re holding it in your hand.  It’s virtually silent when it’s inserted.

I have to say I very much liked the design of this toy.  The flexible,  flat, bulbous and sort of squishy head was incredible against my g-spot; far exceeding hard, pointy g-spot toys.  The vibrations were deep rather than high, which is also my preference.  The toy is thick and heavy, visually appealing, packaged beautifully and worth every single penny of it’s $65.99 price.

It’s hot. Srsly hot. I love it. It’s smooth and beautiful and it feels heavenly.

Cleaning and material info:

Because this toy is silicone, don’t forget only water based lubes should be used in order to keep the toy in peak condition.  Because it’s so smooth, though, even water based lubes last awhile on this toy and give plenty of delicious slickness.

Silicone is non porous and can be easily sterilized by wiping with a ten percent bleach solution. This toy should not be boiled or put in the dishwasher like some silicone can be, however,  since it’s splash proof, not water proof.

I don’t share my toys so I simply wipe it down with a toy cleaning wipe or wash it in warm, soapy water and rinse well. Silicone tends to pick up a fair amount of lint so wiping down or washing before and after use is a good idea.

Many thanks, as always, to Eden Fantasys for letting me review such an awesome sex toy.  The Gigolo is way, way up there on my list of favorites!

  1. Lmao
Yes. That is my beagle, doing this thing we call “horking”. It’s not a puke noise or signal, it’s kind of like an inverted sneeze? It’s a beagle thing. Both of ours have done it. She sounds SO dumb!
I wasn’t about to redo the stupid video, though.
