Cockring? Not so much. Bullets? Very nice.
Betty Jo. Betty Jo. I just don’t know what to think of you, Betty Jo.
A silicone, rabbit-style cock ring. A dual mini bullet system.
A bit of good, a bit of bad…
A bit of happy, a bit of sad.
Let’s start with the silicone, rabbit-style cock ring.
It’s silicone, so you can sterilize it and share it to your hearts content. But it’s bulky and huge and if your guy doesn’t have a substantial cock he’s going to lose a good bit of length in using this.
Silicone is generally firm and dense yet pliable and soft and transmits vibrations well. This cock ring is no exception – and yet, the pokey rabbity ears just don’t quite manage to feel good as they jab your poor clitoris when thrusting becomes rapid.
The cock ring stretches from 1.25 to 3.5 inches – which should be enough for most – but it also tends to grip and pull and tug on pubic hair, making it highly uncomfortable for those who aren’t trimmed close or shaved bare. Application and removal were both quite horrible for my partner and there were plenty of ripped out pubic hairs stuck to the bunny when he was done.
He was a trooper, though, and tried it twice for me; once around cock and balls and once just around his dick.
I’m now in his debt for all the pain and suffering.
Moving on to the dual mini bullet system, however, things begin to look up.
While the vibrations weren’t super strong when used with the cock ring – in fact, we could barely notice when we changed the speeds, of which there are four – they do manage to be quite sufficient when used alone or with other toys.
These bullets are about the same size as the watch battery type mini bullets that come with a lot of toys and, as this pack runs on two AA batteries and can be used with one or both bullets, it’s definitely a good addition to the toy box. No more worries about replacing watch batteries or your vibrations stopping twenty minutes into your fun; you just replace the wireless bullets with this (or these) wired one and you’re good to go for at least an hour.
The wires on both hard plastic bullets have a “jack” type connector so they can easily be disconnected from the controller for cleaning. You can use one or both with no noticeable change in power and they’re quite quiet for the amount of power they put out – which, again, is comparable to the watch battery type bullets.
Overall…
The cock ring was a pretty miserable fail for us but they’re also not something we normally use. Those who really like cock rings in general may have better luck – though I recommend shaving first!
The bullet system is a good, solid system that can be used with many other toys, by itself, by yourself, with a partner, or just about any way you can think of. It’s a win.
And that, my friends, is all I have to say about the Betty Jo. Middle of the road when you average out the good and the bad. The cock ring will likely get tossed while the bullets will be a cherished addition to my bag full o’ sex toys. Available from Babeland for $55.

It feels like such a shame that the ring didn’t work, since its silicone. But I can imagine how those ears would hurt! I wish all bullets had jacks.
