You Ta Ta Tang Mistress! YES!!!!!!!
Awhile back I reviewed an oil from Angelic Aromas called Va va Vixen. It was supposed to be a chakra opening, spicy scented oil. It smelled like cinnamon tacos. Total fail. But I’m open minded so I decided to give the company and their products another chance…
And here I am, reviewing Two to Tango Spells and Potions oil.
The Two to Tango oil is an aromatherapy oil, scented with tangerine and vanilla essential oils in a vegetable oil base.
Use of essential oils is a thing of mine. I really prefer if something I may be putting in my mouth has natural fragrance and flavor rather than synthetic. Two to Tango is a definite winner there. Nothing unnatural in this product at all; in fact, it has only four ingredients listed on the label and one of them is love.
The oil comes in a cobalt blue, glass bottle with a pump top. It’s a shame they covered most of the bottle with a horrible orange sticker but the sticker is removable if you’re willing to work at it. (Goo gone and a little scrub brush work wonders) It’s fairly likely I’ll remove the label since it features a couple apparantly either tango’ing or fucking — I can’t tell which — and it appears the female of the couple is being dropped on her head by the male. Weird, I know. Bad, bad artwork.
Anyhow…
The pump top works fabulously. It dispenses just a pea sized drop into your hand and doesn’t leak at all, even when tipped sideways.
The oil itself is on the medium side as far as thickness. It’s not watery thin but it’s definitely a liquid and not a creamy or thick oil. It absorbs into the skin like a dream, leaving absolutely no greasiness behind — I even tested it on my hands before sitting down to write this and my fingers aren’t the least bit oily.
I’ve found it works really, really well after a shower. A few drops smoothed in all the places you want to be soft and gently scented and you’re good to go. I even used it post shaving this morning and it caused no irritation and may even have soothed some.
The bottle is small; only two ounces, so I wouldn’t necessarily use this for a full body massage as you’d need too much for it to be affordable, but it works very nicely for spot massage.
The oil isn’t highly scented. In fact, you get the barest hint of soft, warm orange fragrance. Definitely a plus for those who are sensitive to scent. The fragrance lingers just lightly on the skin for about an hour after applying. It’s also not “flavored”. It has no sweetner in it so the only taste you get is a hint of the essential oils and vegetable oil base. It’s not exceptionally greasy on the tongue, leaves no after taste or coating and is really quite pleasant if you’re going to be kissing those areas you rub it in to.
EdenFantasys lists this as an oil based lubricant and there’s really no reason you couldn’t use it as such, especially anally. Natural oils are not clogging to pores and female bits as mineral/petroleum based oils are so it shouldn’t, in theory, cause any bacterial issues. I would use care and not use with condoms or most sex toys, however, as oil isn’t always compatible with latex and other materials.
All in all I’d highly recommend this and will definitely be using it a lot after bath and shower. It feels luxurious, absorbs better than a lot of product I’ve tried, smells soft and fresh and is completely natural. In fact, it could probably even be added to the bath — and I believe I’ll try that next!
Much, much better than the cinnamon tacos! I didn’t notice any aphrodisiac properties but it was definitely pleasant.
Of interest is the label and the very strange text on it. (In fact, that’s where the title of the blog came from) I’ve included pictures because it’s just… too odd. Yet another reason I’ll be removing it.
