Chaos
The more I use glass toys the more I love them. There’s just something about the coolness, the firmness, the slick, easy slide…
Not to mention they look so damned compelling and beautiful you don’t want to put them away. I find myself staring at them obsessively, fondling the texture – or lack of texture – and holding them up to catch the light, enthralled.
I also find myself adding more and more of them to my wish lists since each one is so different, even when they’re similar.
I recently got the Chaos by RubyGlass21 from sextoy.com. RubyGlass21 hand makes all of their products from pyrex/borosilicate glass so it’s strong, safe and absolutely beautiful. The picture on the sex toys site showed the Chaos in a sort of dusty pink and clear color but, because they’re hand made, color patterns can vary and the one I received is actually shades of black, clear, purple and blue – though, when it’s not held up to the light, it just looks black and purple. Very dark.
The shaft of the Chaos is seven inches long with a one inch diameter, covered in a swirly, corkscrew wrap that adds another 1/6 of an inch to the diameter. The shaft starts out small at a tapered half inch diameter and ends in a 1.5 inch ball.
Either end can be inserted, either end feels phenomenal. I prefer the “pop” of the ball end, personally but I also like the ball as a handle so it’s a difficult decision each time I use it.
I usually go for a bit of each. :)
The wrapped shaft is fairly highly textured; spiral wraps are a very noticeable texture, which I like but may be a bit much for some since you can definitely feel them intensely when thrusting. I’ve found that if you’re not really ready for something of that intensity, they can be vaguely painful so you may want to warm up before reaching for this one.
The Chaos is also a straight shaft, so there is no curve for aiding in g-spot stimulation. Glass seems to be terrific for this even without a curve, however, due to the firmness. I managed to reach it quite easily with both ends.
This toy can be used for anal play since the ball end is larger than the shaft but I would be careful and sure to maintain a grip on it just to be safe.
As with all glass dildos, the Chaos is fantastic for temperature play. It can be warmed or cooled down by simply running it under warm or cool water or placing it in the fridge or freezer for a short while. Use caution, though. You don’t want to microwave it, then put it in the freezer. It could break that way.
Any lube can be used with glass and I prefer silicone but glass is so sleek, smooth and nearly frictionless that you may find you don’t need any at all.
I ’m very impressed with the Chaos. The colors and swirls in the coloring are gorgeous, the spiral wrap is obviously hand done. It’s seamless, smooth yet just imperfect enough that you can tell it wasn’t done by a computerized machine. That is so beautiful. I love the dark blue/purple glass–I bet it looks even better in person. I’ve got RubyGlass on my favorites list just so I can check in & drool. Prices are pretty reasonable too.
These glass toys are so gorgeous, I want to have a plethora of them & hang them in my sunny windows just to see how the light catches them. (My nibby neighbors would stop watching my house lol–or watch it MORE!)

As your personal preference, do you like them warmed or cooled? Or flip flop back & forth?
I do wonder if cold would affect my muscles because of my fibromyalgia–When I get too cold, my muscles cramp–but then if it was because of the placement of a glass toy–I think I’d enjoy the muscle cramping at the time. LOL.

Cold. Definitely cold. I haven’t noticed any cramping but I also don’t freeze the things. The refrigerator or cold water works fine and doesn’t make it “too” cold. :)

I put it in the fridge for a while…just to see. AND THEN I FELL ASLEEP…as did J.–who won’t wake me up to fool around very often.
Woke up around 5 a.m. & thought–ZOMG, the kids are going to find it. (the 10 yr old wouldn’t know–since it’s a candy cane{that I WON from scarletsletter off of Twitter-YAY ME!!}, but the 15 yr old was in the room when I opened the box & we had a most hilarious convo about dildos.)
And then I fell asleep again.
