So I’m gonna admit it.  I wanted the OhMiBod Club Vibe for one reason and one reason only.

It vibrates to ambient sound.

And I wasn’t planning on wearing it out and about on the town, at a party, at a club.  I didn’t want it for picking up music and car horns and miscellaneous sound.

No.  I wanted it because the sound of a slap on the ass is also ambient sound.

The Club Vibe is a wired bullet type vibe.  It connects to a remote that allows for either regular vibrations that you control, vibrations that buzz in time with your ipod or other mp3 player or vibrations that start and stop as they pick up ambient noise.  A flick of a switch determines which.  (Though you do have to plug it into your mp3 player, as well, to use that feature, via an included jack that allows you to plug both bullet and your earphones in.)

It comes with a black lace thong to tuck the bullet into, as well, so you’re all set up to tuck it in, clip your ipod and the remote to your belt and vibrate your ass off.  The panties are one size fits most but they fit me (I’m a size 14ish) and they have a good amount of stretch so they really should fit most, though probably not up into plus sizes or very small sizes)

You can choose steady vibrations or  patterns.

So how does it work?  Did I like it?

It’s ok.  The bullet works fantastically as a regular bullet.  The steady vibrations are nice and powerful, the patterns are different enough from other vibrators to be interesting.  They’re also fairly in tune with the teasing ways I tend to get close to orgasm so, for me, they’re very nice.  Others are made differently, though, so I can’t say how everyone will like them.

I liked it less when plugged into music or used in ambient mode.  It’s a neat concept and it’s fun but it’s not orgasmic for me.  What it is, however, is a great tease, a great buildup, and a great way to keep me aware and horny and ready to jump my partner.  It’s a great distraction/addition to being spanked, too.  A “slap” “buzz” “owie” “ooooh” sort of feeling.  Again, not enough to get me off whilst being spanked but certainly fun.

The Club Vibe bullet is velvety coated plastic, the controller slick plastic.  It comes with a storage pouch and the thong and all of it is easy to clean; wipe the controller down if you need to, soap and water for the bullet (being careful not to soak the wires) and into the washer with the thong.

Use any lube you want, if you need it, though I found I didn’t as it’s pretty much an external sex toy at only 1.5 inches long.
