Libido Exotic Fruits
I have a definite soft spot for Shunga products.
Not so long ago I tried my first ones; I was buying wedding gifts for some friends of ours so I bought some for myself, too. I tried the shower gel, the massage candle and the sweet snow. I ended up absolutely loving the shower gel so, as I started to run low after using it daily, I decided I was going to buy more. I also decided I was going to get some of the massage oil in the same scent.
The scent I like is the Exotic Fruits and I’ll be the first to admit it doesn’t smell all that exotic. I’ve mentioned before and I’ll reiterate — it smells like Juicy Fruit gum. A lot of folks dislike the intense sweetness of it but I’m not one of them. Taylor really prefers sweet smelling scents (cotton candy is his favorite) so I’ve developed a liking for them, as well. Good thing, right?
I’m also going to admit that I bought the oil to use as a bath oil. I really like having things that smell the same and hated having to use a lotion that smelled different after I had a shower. I like to layer and I like to use the sweet snow as a sort of body powder rather than as a form of foreplay — though it still turns into foreplay when I get out of the bath and I smell sweet and sexy and he goes to kiss my neck or shoulder and it tastes as good as it smells, so it’s all good. :)
The only way for me to layer before I bought the massage oil was to light the candle and use the oil/wax as a lotion and that gets to be a pain in the ass when all you want is a quick shower.
So. The oil.
Like all Shunga products it comes delightfully packaged; the bottle is clear with a black, flip up cap and gorgeous Japanese art decorating the front. Text with a description (multi language) and ingredients on the back is subtle. It looks pretty and sensual but not something I’d be nervous about my Aunt Judy or my teenage son seeing.
The scent of the oil is a bit less intense, a bit less overly sweet than that of the other products. It’s toned down and not at all overwhelming, yet still soft and sweet.
The massage oil is a combination of different oils; almond, grapeseed, sesame, avacodo, safflower and vitamin e. It also contains some ylang-ylang and added fragrance. Not a drop of mineral oil (ie icky petroleum) in sight. The natural oils are body safe and unlikely to clog pores or cause infections if they get near your sensitive bits.
The oil goes on smooth and spreads easily, warming to your hands and allowing a nice friction with application instead of an oil slick. It absorbs well and lasts long enough to massage large parts of the body without drying out. It doesn’t seem to stain as the drops I spilled washed out of my sheets without stain removal treatment.
But most of all…
It makes your bathwater, if you add some, a delightful, silken dream.
It can be rubbed into the still damp skin after a shower and it leaves just the right amount of softness in it’s wake, just the right amount of sweet, sexy scent.
When I use the Shunga Exotic Fruits shower gel, top it with a bit of the oil rubbed in thoroughly after a bath or shower and then dust on a small amount of the sweet snow…
I’m an irresistible, silky soft, sugary scented confection just ready for him to kiss and nibble and lick.
And that, my friends, is reason enough to buy it over and over and over again. Eden Fantasys carries it all in the fruit and many other scents/flavors if juicy fruit isn’t your thing.

As a side note, the oil has no taste on it’s own, just the scent. So my next purchase? The matching flavored lube. ;0

Hmmm, does Shunga or any other company make a flavored massage oil, or are most of them just scented?

Most flavored massage oils are not oil based and the ones I’ve tried that are oil based are a little weird; not very flavored.
This one does have a hint of flavor to it, just nothing at all like a flavored lube or a non oil massage “oil” (ie kama sutra, etc).
Shunga does make a flavored body potion thing…. similar to the kama sutra stuff… http://www.edenfantasys.com/intimate-kisses-aphrodisiac-oil/adult-toys-dvds-25322 but, again, it’s not an actual oil.
