O’My Luscious Scent

I’ve been buying a lot of sensual products lately.  Massage oils and candles and whatnot.  I’ve always been very drawn to scent.  I have more bath products than I know what to do with, enough to drive the boys in my life insane.

So when I asked to review the blueberry cheesecake O’My flavored lube I really didn’t do so for the flavor.  There are a whole bunch of reviews on it already, stating that the flavor is pretty much crap.  They also all state that it smells fantastic.

You guessed it.  I wanted it for the scent.

I like fucking amidst a scent I like, be it from candles or incense or massage oil or our freshly bathed skin or, yes, even lube.

Because the other reviews were right.  O’My flavored lubes pretty much taste icky but smell fabulous.

The lube itself works well for a water based lube.  It’s slick and fairly thick, though it does get sticky when it dries.

It’s paraben and glycerin free and chock full of natural ingredients like guarana and ginseng.  I do believe those two ingredients may be what contribute to it’s icky, slightly bitter taste, however.

The first taste is pure, creamy blueberry but it’s immediately taken over by bitterness, the same bitterness I associate with a lot of energy drinks.  A minute or so later, after the lube is rubbed into the skin a bit, the bitterness fades and you have a nice taste again, but having to wait makes me less willing to use it as an oral lube.

I like it for vaginal sex, wouldn’t use it for anal since my ass doesn’t need blueberry flavor, and definitely LOVE it for masturbation.  My silicone toys like the water based friendliness of it and my nose really enjoys the luscious, sweet aroma of blueberry cheesecake as I diddle myself.

This lube comes in a color co-ordinated pump top bottle; that means my blueberry is in a pretty blue plastic bottle, the strawberry cheesecake is in a red, etc.  The pump distributes plenty for a single use and works wonders at preventing spills since you can lock it when you’re not using it, thus even while traveling it stays closed up tight in your bag.

I leave it sitting on my desk and it blends in perfectly with all my other pretty blue bottles. :)
