FYN Madness

About a month ago I went a little bag crazy.  FYN had a bunch of stuff on sale so I splurged and picked up an Essential Wristlet, a Five Incher and a Girl’s Best Friend.  On top of the Adult Toybox and the Footlong I already had, plus the two Devine bags, I’ve got a boatlod of toy storage — and it’s still not enough.

The five incher is adorable.  I bought one in brown and Vera was kind enough to also send me a just slightly damaged pink one. (It has a small cut in it, like from a box cutter, but the cut in no way hinders it’s use and can barely be seen)  The brown one I bought for Taylor to keep extra flashlight batteries in on the motorcycle.  The pink one?  I keep my LELO Mia in it.

The bags are, as expected, five inches long and one and a half inches around.  They have a double zipper with the usual glow in the dark zipper pulls, tiny lock and set of two keys.

Super cute but somehow smaller than I expected, despite the size being clearly stated on the site.

The Girl’s Best Friend I use to keep my pocket rockets and their attachments in, as well as a couple of wireless bullets.

Again, this bag has dual zippers, glowing pulls, a lock, two keys.  It’s 7.5 inches long, 4.25 high and 1 inch deep.  Inside is a small pocket on one side and four elastic loops on the other.  I got mine, as expected, in pink but it’s also available in black, red, leopard and white.
This one could easily be used for just about anything; manicure supplies, make up, personal products like tampons and panty liners, flash drives and other laptop accessories…  you name it, if it’s small and needs a place to be tucked, this thing would work well for it.

The Essential Wristlet I got in leopard – but only because there wasn’t pink available :( – and I got it for a very particular reason.

I wanted to have something I could take on the motorcycle that would hold my camera, credit cards, cash, some lip balm and my phone.  It does.  And it’s small enough it doesn’t feel awkward to hold on to even on long rides, which allows me to pull out my camera and take pictures while we ride and to not have to go digging thru saddle bags and trunk to grab my cash when we stop for a coffee.  I even used it camping – obviously.

The Essential Wristlet is 3″ x 6″ x 2.5″ and has three compartments.  One is a deep, larger compartment (I keep my camera in that one).  The next is smaller, thinner, but has slots for credit cards, etc on one side and an elastic loop on the other (I keep my cards, cash and phone in there).  The final compartment is a tiny little space on the front of the bag where I keep a lip balm and some rolaids.  I like to be prepared like that.  There’s also a snap flap that, when lifted, has a tiny mirror.

Like all FYN bags, this one has glow in the dark pulls but it isn’t a locking bag.  Though I use mine for specific things, you could certainly use it for anything you liked.

As usual,  I really like all three bags.  I’ve only had one issue with an FYN  product (the lining bled onto some of my toys) and have not had a repeat of the issue with any of these.I like them well enough that I have the hide and seek and ten incher still on my “wishlist” and would LOVE a few of the bigger cases, too, but they don’t come in pink. :(

All of the bags are faux leather (vinyl) with an easily washed nylon lining.

** Non relevant to the review, I used my affiliate code to order these and while the “clicks” showed up, no affiliate sales did. Anyone else have issues with affiliate mess ups with FYN?  I don’t want to put up a big stink over a few bucks but it is a little odd**
