A Letter to No One
Dear Twitter, Facebook, blogging, random online person I follow for whatever reason in whatever place,
When you are feeling miserable and empty and sad and needy, chances are very good you are also thinking, primarily, only of yourself.
Times of extreme selfishness generally tend to cause extreme misery.
Stop.
Do something. Get out of your head and into your life. Stop focusing on the me, me, me, want, want, need, need, don’t have, want, woe, me, me memememememmee and focus on the stuff in your life that is good, those in your life who may need you, strangers who have real fucking problems like no food in their refrigerator or no heat in their home, something, anything but yourself for a few days.
I promise, you’ll feel much better.
