AAA bitch

32666811So I get to do a stint as a dispatcher this weekend.

Uh.  Yeah.

Some of you may remember when Taylor and I did roadside assistance for a living.  We’re still fairly close to the folks who own the company and they have a big family wedding this weekend so…

Taylor’s going to run service calls and I’m going to dispatch for him so they can all enjoy the wedding festivities without anyone having to miss parts of it.  So from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon we’ll be hanging over at their house (it’s a home based business) dealing with 24/7  jump starts, tire changes, cranky customers and insurance companies.

Meh.

I”m not real thrilled about it but I”m not about to turn them down, either.  They deal with this stuff day in and day out, every day, all day, all week, all month, all year.  They deserve a break for their son’s wedding.

It does mean next to no sleep for either of us and it’s likely to be boring as fuck – especially since they’re not so busy these days, which is why we no longer do this shit for a living.

And, yanno, they have 87 kids so it’s not like it would be real appropriate for me to be on my adult sites or yammering on Twitter with ass and sex toy avatars flashing all over the screen.

Meh.

So I’ll have to mostly content myself with reading and maybe writing posts via gmail or something.

Exciting, eh?

It also means we probably won’t have any sex and I don’t even know if I can find it in myself to bring a sex toy along.  Maybe Nea.  I dunno.

I”m just kind of blah about the whole thing.  It also means leaving the Teen home alone all weekend; his first.  And, yeah, he’s almost sixteen but I’m still nervous as hell.

Oh well.  All I can do is deal with it, get it done and get on with normal life.

For now…  I”m fucking starved.  I need food.

And…  shush.  I heard that sigh of relief.

It’s my blog and I’ll babble if I want to! :P

It’s too bad you couldn’t just forward their phone number to your house, bring their equipment/truck/whatever to your house & stay in comfort. lol. Gah, I wouldn’t want to do that 24/7. Insurance companies are the devil to deal with, good luck.

I know, I know! And we would have, but we only have one land line and we’d need a land line plus a fax line. God damn it.
