Like all the toys in the Tantus Alumina line, the Motion is beatutiful; crafted of anodized aluminum in a shiny shade of purple with almost a blue-ish hue to it when you turn it in the light. It comes in a gorgeous black box with a foam insert that perfectly fits the toy and works really well for storage. It’s dual ended, 8.75 inches in length with a maximum diameter of 1.25 inches. It has a silicone ring in the center to cushion the two separate ends, which can be unscrewed and put back together with other products from the same line, to really mix and match and make your own, custom, amazing dildo. (of course, you have to buy each of them but, still…)
Because it’s aluminum, it’s sanitizable with a mild bleach solution or by boiling. It’s also compatible with any lube. And? It’s awesome – absolutely awesome – for temperature play.
As you can see in the pictures, the Motion is bloopy, bumpy textured, with pointed, tapered ends to make insertion a breeze. One end is larger with only the single bloop, the other is smaller with a tiny tapered bloop then a rounder, larger bloop. Both ends provide a pretty good amount of textured feel with thrusting, despite the fact that the toy itself is utterly frictionless, totally smooth and glossy.
The Motion is much heavier than you expect it to be, more along the lines, weight-wise, of glass or steel than what you expect when you hear aluminum. It’s hefty yet not so heavy it’s difficult to use; in fact, it’s not at all fatiguing to the hand to thrust with the Motion. I’d use a bit of caution, however, in that it *is* pointy and it’s easy to jab the cervix or vaginal walls with this toy if you get moving too rapidly and carelessly, especially with the smaller side. Keep your movements nice and easy with this baby.
The most fantastic thing about all the Alumina toys is how they react to temperature changes. They start off feeling cool when you insert them, because even room temperature is cooler than our internal body temperature. They’re not cold, just cool – especially in summer. In winter they can feel downright chilly! If you like that cool sensation, run it under cold water, tuck it in the fridge or in a bowl of ice for a bit. If you like warm? Same thing, only use warm water. Do not stick these in the microwave – they’ll ruin your microwave! – or in the oven or boiling water for use. That will make them too hot and you will burn your fingers before you ever get it near an orifice. Same goes for the freezer; you can damage tender internal tissues by using something that is icy cold like that.
No matter what temperature you start with, the Alumina toys rapidly warm up to your body temperature, feeling almost intensely hot in the most intriguing way. It’s interesting to take your time and really feel the temperatures change.
Out of the three Alumina pieces I have I have to admit I prefer the Flow first, then the Revolve, the Motion last. Mostly this is due to it’s pointiness. It’s awesome for the texture but does little for my g-spot and the intense, pointed tapers make me nervous.
That’s okay, though. It also forces me to slow down and truly enjoy the sensation caused by the bloops. It may not be my favorite sex toy, but it sure feels good!

I drink a lot of coffee, ride a motorcycle, have an 18 year old son and a decade long relationship that began in a chat room.

YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE POINTINESSSSS because you are pointless. yes yes, that’s it!
