Always a Bright Side

Always a Bright Side

If I could have any one “thing” – you know, new possession, a granted wish for a tangible thing – I would ask for a huge clawfoot tub. Or a spa tub.  Or something, anything, other than the crappy old bathtub in our house with it’s straight back and not enough room to really recline in comfortably.

I’m done working for the day, ready to press a pot of espresso beans and would love to have this fantastic, relaxing bath…

*sigh*

Don’t get me wrong, I make the most of what I have and do have some super bath time — but I can dream, right?  Of bigger and better?  I can long…

*sighsighsigh*

Wishing for what I can’t have just depresses me.

——————————————————————————————————

I guess the thing to do is be glad I’m done with work, brew up that pot of coffee, run that tub and focus on chillin’.  Some people only have showers.  Some people don’t have 8000 tubs of bath salts, oils and bubbles to choose from.  Some people don’t even have a bathroom!

See? There is always a bright side.

At least you have a tub! We’ve got a claustrophobic stand-up shower. Seriously. You have to be a size 7 to fit comfortably in this thing.
