An Orgasmic Lightshow

Bullets.  Indispensable in the toy box, a must have sex toy for everyone. Versatile. Strong. And they’re so much nicer than they used to be.  You remember.  Back when all you could get was the standard, cream colored, dial controlled bullet that quickly shorted out.  If  you were lucky, maybe you could find a silver or gold colored one but then you had to worry about the silver and gold colored coating flaking off.  There were no patterns and the dial always seemed to go from low to high with weird stuttering in the middle.  Or maybe I was just unlucky.  Regardless, bullets today are ever so much nicer.  And the Xtreme Pack?  One of the best.

The Xtreme pack comes with a small, mini bullet that plugs into the handset via a small jack.  I love this, since one of my biggest issues with bullets has always been that they short out at the connection area.  It also means you can use any bullet with this sort of plug in the control pack.  So if you don’t like the mini bullet, you can replace it with a plugged bullet that you do like.

There isn’t much to dislike about this mini bullet, though.  It’s a translucent pink plastic with a velvety coating over it.  It measures around two inches long by a half inch in diameter.  It fits perfectly inside any silicone dildo or anal plug that initially came with one of those watch battery taking, push button, silver bullets of death.  (I loathe those things. I really do.)  It fits in cock rings that take the same sort of bullet.  And, of course, it works like an ordinary bullet, only smaller.

It’s much, much stronger than push button, watch battery bullets, too!  So you get a tiny little thing that can replace the dreaded silver bullet and is easy to hold onto or tuck into place on it’s own.  (I don’t suggest internal use with this, though, since it’s not waterproof.  Definitely not anal use because, though it does have a wire you can pull on, it’s way too easy for that wire to break and leave you stranded with a mini bullet up your arse)

The velvety coating also helps give you a bit of friction against the skin, which is a really nice improvement over smooth plastic, in my opinion.

The only issue I have with this bullet at all is the seam that runs across it horizontally.  It tends to collect a lot of crud and I find myself having to use a wet wipe and the edge of my fingernail to really get in there and get it out.  Because of that, I don’t recommend sharing without slipping a condom or toy cover over this first.

So, enough about the bullet, eh?  Let’s talk about the control pack, which is the really excellent part of this toy.  I’ve tried multiple plugged bullets with this control pack and all of them work spectacularly!  I have many bullets that came with standard control packs; levels of vibration but no patterns or a pack that felt uncomfortable in my hand.  The control pack on the Xtreme pack solves all those problems.

The control pack is silver and pink, about 4.5 inches long by 2 inches wide. (approximately. I lost my tape measure!)  It has nice, ridged grips on the sides that make holding on to it exceptionally comfortable.

It also has a nifty blinking light display and multiple buttons to control your vibrations.

In the center is a dedicated on/off button, making it easy to turn the toy off if silence is needed quickly or privacy is interrupted.

On the left are two buttons to control steady vibrations and their strength.  A press to the + button gives you low vibrations.  Each subsequent press gives you stronger and stronger vibrations.  There are a total of 5 levels, which is much nicer than low, medium and high.  A press to the – button lowers the vibrational intensity.

On the right you have two arrowed buttons that take you thru the vibrational patterns dependent upon the speed you’re using — supposedly there are 35 possible options though, honest to gods, I couldn’t tell you if I can feel them all.  There are definitely a lot of options and the patterns are excellent.  They are not the standard, boring waves and pulses with an escalation thrown in.  They’re truly remarkable and varied, long, drawn out and very, very nice for teasing yourself or drawing out your orgasm.

And, as I said, you can use any plugged bullet in the jack so if you have a favorite that has a crappy control pack, changing out turns any bullet into an amazing, 35x bullet.

The bullet is very strong, almost stronger than I can take on it’s highest settings.  It’s also fairly loud so if  you need privacy, you’re going to want to close the door, turn on the t.v. and hide under the covers with this one.  It runs on two AA batteries that are easily replaced via a slide off “door” on the back of the control pack.

Clean up carefully with a soapy cloth or wipe for best results and to keep water from getting into the pack or the motor.
