The Holidays are always busy around here.  Taylor and I both have birthdays the week of Christmas as well as the whole family Christmas stuff.  The teen’s dad is in town for Christmas.  My extended family does their "thing" the weekend [...]

So I was editing video today and I got to thinking…
Knives (or, more precisely, knife play with Taylor) scare the shit out of me.
Not just sometimes.
Every.
Fucking.
Time.
He can take a scalpel to me. Cut lovely designs in me. It relaxes me to a wonderful, lethargic state.

The teen took a header off his skateboard, resulting in a possible ACL tear. He’s hobbling around on crutches, scared of possible surgery, bored out of his skull and lamenting the loss of his weekend plans.

Not much to say. It’s the weekend. Taylor’s got his couple days off and it’s good to have some time with him . Aunt Flo came for an early visit. Bah.
