I suck at being sick, I really do.

Shut it all down, shut it all off and go be good to yourself for an hour. You do not have to do that one more thing, take care of this one last item. Just… pause. You’ll thank yourself for it, I promise.

So, anyhow. I was insane busy today and when I finally stopped and looked at the clock and realized it was almost five and I hadn’t eaten and I was feeling like shit, I hit the pause button.

And because I’m retarded I took a video of how my coffee machine makes cappuccino.

And now I’m sharing it with you.

Because coffee makes me happy. And I’m retarded.

We were doing all the Christmas decorations and stuff today; tree, wreaths, lights, garlands around the balcony rail. All the fun stuff. And I was, of course, snapping pictures.

Taylor seems to be enjoying me being sick. Sounds weird, right? And it’s not that he likes me feeling crappy so much as he seems to find me cute when I’m miserable, even when it’s a cold that’s doing it and not him. Red nose, trailing tissues, fuzzy blanket, pathetic pout…

Still, I am cleaning and writing reviews, even if I am doing it juiced on Theraflu and VapoRub and wearing a flannel shirt four sizes too big for me.

It’s bad enough my snootch is out of order, I don’t need a cold/flu on top of it, damn it!

And, man, let me tell you, having the snootch out of order is the suck. It’s like it’s sucked everything sexual right out of me.

I really have nothing to say — I just wanted to use this icon.

I’m sort of an icon whore.

I went out and bought all new bedding today. New sheets and pillow cases and comforters. I can’t WAIT to go to bed.

….just how is a person supposed to blog or tweet or anything at all with this… this… cute… annoying… adorable… CREATURE… in their bed?

Dragged down, wore out and mind numbingly tired.
I’ve actually been feeling that way since the whole Daylight Savings Time ends/fall back thingy.

So I’m on my lunch break, sitting outside on my balcony with the laptoppy, a steaming mug of french vanilla java, homemade chocolate chip cookies, a smoke (yes, I started again. shame. fuck off) and the urge to sigh a big, huge sigh of relief.
You would think that working from home would be easy.

I slept in until eleven o’clock this morning.  Pure luxury compared to my early rising weekdays lately.
I’m lounging around in loose, low slung shorts and a tank, enjoying the breeze drifting thru my house.

Life has become exceedingly busy.
