Ch-ch-ch-changes

I’m not sure if I’m happy or sad with my new theme change.  I love my old theme.  Seriously LOVE it. But the people who created it were dumb assholes from the beginning who filled it with all sorts of code that even people who work with code for a living couldn’t figure out and now?

Now they no longer support it.

So each time WordPress updates more and more stuff was becoming glitchy for me and functioning poorly.

So.

New theme.

I’m in love with some of it’s features but not too sure I love the main page layout.  And I really don’t like the color options, though red was the best of the five.

Eh. I’ll get used to it.  And if I hate it, I can always change again.  It gives me something to do. Because, you know, I don’t have enough to do normally.

I’m pathetically behind on reviews I wanted to get done. I think I have 40 + products sitting there waiting to be reviewed, some of them really cool.

My house is a wreck.

My dogs need to be walked and by the time I’m done working I’m too tired to do it.

I’m getting fatter and fatter cuz I don’t have time to exercise.

Yes, I’ll get right on changing the theme again if I end up not liking it.

Not!

Bad enough I have to go thru and fix a lot of old posts and images, no way I’m changing again.

Let’s hope I like it, eh?

And that, I believe, is enough of a post to test how it’s working.

What?

You thought I actually had time to do a real blog?

Ha!

And how have y’all been lately, anyhow?  I’ll bet Boxxy misses me a lot.

  1. Life is sometimes an exercise in frustration. Sometimes I can’t figure out how to focus on the positive when I have all the negative stuff screaming at me. How do I keep up with exercising and cleaning and fighting the good fight when I’ve got bad shit dragging me down? Then I take a deep breath, pour a glass of wine, light a candle and soak in the hot, fragrant bath.

    • Heh. This is exactly what I am about to do. Big glass of wine, a handful of bath salts, a long soak, a good book and an awesome dude to slather me with sesame lotion when I’m done.

Life is good. Hectic, but it’s better than boring, right?

  2. You sound like me right now. So behind on everything, but I’ve been focusing my attention on me, my marriage and my weight loss. There’s only so much of us to go around so we just have to be content with it or change our priorities. =)

    You’ll catch up.

  3. You can’t change the red to pink by tweaking the stylesheet and/or manipulating the graphics? I almost never judge a theme by its given color as 99% of the time it can be changed be it css or photoshop.
