Oh my. Eight days without a post. Quiet, eh?
Taylor worked all last week so I just sort of took the opportunity to enjoy the quiet.
I haven’t really written any blogs and have barely read any.
And I’ve been doing yoga.
Not exactly deep, meditative, religious experience type yoga but yoga none the less.
Steve Ross – who has a yoga show on the Oxygen Channel every weekday morning at five – has become my new hero. I, of course, use the DVR and do it around noon but, still….
It’s cool.
Makes me feel all stretched and flexible and balanced and long and leaner. (Not that I’m actually leaner yet but perhaps eventually)
I can now almost touch my toes again – which, because of ungodly tight hamstrings, I haven’t been able to do in freakin’ years.
The problem is I’m a little big to be doing some of this yoga shit. Putting all my weight on my arms for some of the poses has me sooooooooooo sore in the shoulders and chest. Though that, too, is less than it was so I suppose my muscles are getting used to it.
Not much else goin’ on.
I think I’ve just settled into waiting patiently for spring.
One more month and I should be able to start my seeds indoors and have nice, hearty plants to put in come May.
Although…
May sure seems far off yet.
*sigh*
