Donuts are Dangerous

KRISPY-KREME-WHOLE-WHEAT-400I was totally going to write something today but…

My brain is fried.  And it’s only Tuesday afternoon.

I think our one a.m. run to Krispy Kreme — and the resulting sugar binge — has stunted my ability to think.

Left over donuts for breakfast didn’t help.

The fact that I’m eating yet another one as I type?

Help.

Help!

Donuts are dangerous.

  1. Dangerous and addictive. Just one bite and you can’t stop until they are gone. Then you just want to go buy more. Here it is Tim Horton’s. There have been rumors for years about something in the coffee.

  2. OH MY GOD i am just so jealous !!!!!! We used to have a Krispie Kreme just around the corner (more or less) from where i live…… but unfortunately up here in the Great White North you either love ‘em or hate ‘em – turns out us stupid Canuks hate ‘em.

There is one shop left – about a 30 min drive from here… across a bridge even !!! so i rarely if ever have Krispie Kremes anymore…. thankfully !!

    BUT i am still jealous

  3. The closest Krispy Kreme is an hour and a half away. We make do with the packaged ones they sell at the grocery store. They just aren’t nearly as good…but better than nothing. When we are lucky enough to see a *real* store, we buy three dozen & devour them until we’re in a sugar-induced coma. And we’re all depressed when there are no more donuts.

It’s probably a good thing it’s so far away, I’d gain back that 40 lbs I lost.

Oh warm-gooey-sweet Krispy Kremes, how I love thee.

  4. Oh man, all it took was that picture. I went all tunnel vision. lol

I love grocery store glazed doughnuts, like next day ones, so they’ve firmed up just a tad.
My family thinks that’s weird. I just can’t resist them though. ^-^
