Eve

I recently got the opportunity to review some of the new SinFive product line – as well as some of the pieces they’ve had around awhile but were seldom reviewed.  I was, pretty much, pleased as punch because each item is really neat and different and, having reviewed soooo much already, new and different is always fun.

I’m starting with the Eve, a leaf shaped clitoral stimulator made of soft, flexible elastomer and powered by a tiny micro bullet.

The Eve is the epitome of discretion; one would never know, looking at it, that it’s a sex toy and it is so quiet in use you can barely hear it, even when it’s right next to you.  It’s not a powerhouse of a vibrator, but it’s one of the best partner toys I’ve seen yet.

The Eve is, as I said, leaf shaped and made from the most velvety elastomer I’ve ever felt.   It feels luxurious against the skin whether you rub the top leaf part along your flesh or use the softly ribbed and more pinpoint underside – which actually holds the micro bullet.

Eve is ergonomically shaped, to fit well in the palm of the hand no matter how you hold it.  The bullet tucks into the ridged area underneath and turns on with the flick of a switch.  Vibrations are mild but very pleasant and, combined with the ridges, feel quite good against the clitoris, especially during partner sex.  The leaf is flat so it fits between two bodies nearly perfectly and adds very nice, if not super powerful, vibration – often just enough to send you over the edge during partner sex if you’re not getting enough g-spot stimulation to get off vaginally.  It is, truly, the most unobtrusive toy I’ve ever used during sex.

A finger rests easily along the top of the leaf, making it simple to add a bit of pressure and to rub a bit – which feels sensational due to the ridges.  I’m not normally a huge fan of texture but these are so soft and velvet like that they feel good, not painful or annoying like some textures can be.

Even more than as a clitoral stimulator, however, I like the Eve for all over body teasing and foreplay.  I cannot stress enough how nice this material feels, almost like baby soft skin rubbing against you.  I like to turn the micro vibe on and have my entire body teased and touched and rubbed with the toy.  It’s not so powerful that it feels annoying or numbing but, rather, truly stimulates in a sensual and erotic way.  It’s an excellent foreplay device for those long, leisurely sessions where all over body touching is as important as genital touching.  Switching from the flat side to the ribbed pinpoint area really varies up the sensation, meaning you can play with this a long time and not get bored.

And it’s SO quiet.  I mean seriously quiet.  Sometimes vibrators really kind of ruin the romantic mood for me if they’re too noisy and the Eve never, ever does that.  It just quietly hums along, making you feel good.

The Eve is, as mentioned, elastomer, so it’s body safe.  It’s latex free, phthalate free and even has an antimicrobial property added to it that repels bacteria so cleaning is a breeze – just wash it gently with soap and water and let it dry.  The bullet can be removed and wiped down with a toy wipe, wet wipe or washcloth.

The bullet takes two watch batteries and they can be replaced, though getting it apart is a bit difficult.  There is a video on the Eden Fantasys site, on the product page, that shows you how to do it.

Eve is 4.75″ long by 3.5 inches side and about the thickness of a mouse pad, perhaps a bit thinner.  Packaging is tasteful, pretty and fairly small so you don’t have a lot to throw away once you’ve opened it and can even keep it for storage if you like.

Any lube can be used with the Eve, if you need it, but I generally don’t.  I’d say best bet and easiest clean up would be a light water based lube that is slick, not gel like.  Toyfluid works excellently.

It is only one speed of vibrations and, to repeat, it is not uber powerful. But it is uber, uber lovely!
