Flower Power

It seems like every time I try a new massage oil I go a little bit gaga.  I can’t help it. I like massage oils, especially good ones.  This time, however, I’m beyond gaga and am somewhere close to…  mooning.  Swooning.  Calf-eyed love.

Flower Power Teasing is the best massage oil I have ever tried.

Not only is it chock full of good ingredients like almond oil, avocado oil, jojoba oil, aloe vera, macadamia nut oil, hemp seed oil, some essential oil and vitamin e, but it also has a bit of silicone in it so it glides and glides and glides and glides forever.

A small, nickel sized dollop of this oil will give you a full back of the body – back, arms, butt and legs – massage that lasts for well over an hour.  The nut oils are always my favorite in massage products to begin with but the addition of silicone really makes it last a long time and gives you an amazing reduction of friction without a heavily oiled feeling.  You feel hands, rubbing, gliding, soothing, smoothing, kneading, not an oil slick.  You feel heat and tension relief, not coated with slime.

And the scent.  My god, the scent.  I was a little apprehensive when I ordered this from EdenFantasys, so I got the small bottle.  The very next day I ordered the larger bottle, because the scent addicted me, drew me in like a moth to a porch light, made me feel relaxed and stimulated at the same time.  It also made my guy say “it makes me want to put my dick in your ass” which, yanno, is high praise!

Flower Power Teasing scent is a mixture of vanilla, chili and ylang ylang.

I know!  Sounds horrible, doesn’t it?

It’s not.  It’s amazing.  It’s like breathing a combination of the best things on heaven and earth.  It’s not too strong, not too heavy, not too flowery, not too soft, not too spicy.  It’s perfect.  The best scented oil I’ve ever rubbed on myself.

The vanilla softens the chili and the floral ylang ylang.  The chili adds depth and spiciness to the vanilla.  The ylang ylang sweetens and adds a complexity that I can’t even describe.

Ylang ylang is a jasmine like scent that is said to be an aphrodisiac and an excellent aromatherapy oil for reducing stress, anxiety and sexual dysfunction.

Chili – or capsicum – is excellent for relieving sore muscle and joint pain and is used in a lot of topical arthritis medicines and sports rubs.  It provides pain relief and a soothing, amazing warmth when this oil is rubbed.  It’s not hot, in fact did not bother my eyes, nose, lips or even tender vaginal tissues, but is seriously soothingly warm.  It also smells spicy and is quite stimulating, really giving the sweet vanilla and ylang ylang an amazing depth and warmth.

Vanilla, as we all know, is sweet and warm.  Vanilla also acts as an aphrodisiac, especially with men, the statistics say.  It helps with relaxation, stress, and is super relaxing.  The base vanilla scent makes this oil extremely sweet and warm.

Overall, the combined scents are not too strong but do envelop the user in their aroma.  They linger for a long time on the body, fading slowly, gradually, making you want to hug yourself, smell yourself, breathe deep and slow and revel in the scent.

Am I going on and on and on?  I know. I am. I can’t help it.  Considering how iffy I was about this scent, I am quadruply amazed that it turned out to be so heavenly.

The combination of long massage time and the scent has made this absolutely my favorite oil ever.  I like to use it after a bath or shower, to massage my own limbs and torso, rubbing it in, enjoying the warmth and the way it stimulates my flesh.  I like to use it after shaving.  And, oh man, I like to be rubbed with it.  It works best when you use hands, as they spread the heat better and are much more soothing, but it works well with massage stones, too or even an electric massager.

The small bottle is 1.7 fluid ounces and I’ve used up about half of it in about ten days.  The large bottle is 5 ounces and, at 22.99 it’s pricey.  I won’t deny that.  But it’s worth it.  Oh my gods, worth it.  I’ve used this every single day since I got it so using less than an ounce in ten days – each time for pretty much full body coverage.  More moderate use would ensure the bottle would last a good, long time.

Even though it has silicone in it, it doesn’t leave you feeling like you need a shower afterward.  A lot of really good lotions, especially those targeted toward really dry, chapped skin, have silicone in them.  It absorbs in quite well and leaves the skin baby soft.

Bottles are gray with white and red accents. The small one has a click up top, the large a pump top.  I’ll definitely order the large from now on as the pump is really nice.  Both come in cute grey boxes with a fairy with nipples,  frolicking amongst mushrooms on them.

I would not suggest using this as a lube as it can damage condoms and latex toys, plus it contains paraffin, which may not wash away from the inside of the vagina well.

Flower power is not the least bit sticky, has not stained our sheets or towels so far and is, in my opinion, a miracle in a bottle.  I’m in LOVE.
