So I went to the doctor yesterday and they upped my thyroid meds to a nice, high dose.
Please, oh gods of thyroid madness, let it work. Let me have energy and less fat and skin that isn’t dry. I will swallow your offering daily and even deal with the headaches it gives me if you will just make my metabolism work properly again…
Remember when I reviewed that Shunga shower gel (along with the candle and snow stuff)? I wasn’t kidding when I said I really liked it. I actually bought some more. And massage oil in the same fruity scent. I like sitting here smelling all sweet and soft.
I do.
It’s hard to type while holding an ice cream cone.
I lost my temper a little tonight and feel bad about it.
I don’t like to get exasperated, especially with online stuff.
Which reminds me that I was sitting in the tub earlier, thinking about how much happier I am since I stopped hanging out at FetLife so much.
It’s not that I don’t like FetLife. I just feel much more calm and balanced and happy when I’m not letting stuff from there jack me all up.
I miss some folks a lot but I just can’t stomach the general environment and attitude lately.
I actually could ramble on forever about online stuff tonight; forums and blogs and sites and twitter. But I’m in that mood that has me saying stuff I shouldn’t so I’m going to bite my tongue and move on to other thoughts.
I’m out of other thoughts.
The other day we did a PGR thing (Patriot Guard Riders) to welcome home a soldier at the airport. I took a really neat picture of Taylor and some great ones of all the folks with flags.
Wanna see?
We ended up with a line of bikes almost two miles long. Hundreds of people to meet and escort the soldier home. It was cool. I cried.
And that, I believe, is it. My twitter went wonky in the middle of a conversation and it’s almost ten thirty and I have to be up early.

Good luck with the med upgrade. Thyroids are fickle as hell to figure out.
I’m on fet, but I don’t know where the drama is. lol. I just flit around & look at profiles & pics. I just discovered my (kind-of-ex-it’s complicated) b/f who just moved out last week–with a new profile yesterday–totally by random. It was a good thing. I laughed. ;)
The picture of Taylor is AWESOME.
I used to go to ‘Coming Home’ parties during Desert Storm. I always bawled like a baby. It’s such an incredible catharsis. What an incredible thing for you to be a part of, the flag photo is touching.
