Flurries and flurries and a foot

We have a huge storm blowing our way.  They’re talking a possible foot, certainly 6 inches.  That’s pretty heavy for the first real snow of the year.  We got flurries the other day but not even enough to accumulate on more than lawns and decks and you could still see the grass thru it.

So this one?  Wooohooo!  I’m going to go dance in the snow and catch flakes on my tongue.

I am glad, though, that I grocery shopped yesterday and won’t have to drive in the mess.  I drive very well in snow.  It’s just that no one else does.

It’s supposed to start with flurries today, which we’re already getting, and continue, off an on, thru Wednesday.  Thank goodness I made a big pot of beef noodle soup yesterday!  (corn chowder, too, but I ate most of that already)

Not a damned other thing going on.  I’ve spent the day in bed, working from the laptop and gulping tea and theraflu like an addict.

This cold?  It’s starting to aggravate me.  One more sneeze and I may snap.
