I went online window shopping the other day, looking for more of the hair dye I use.
The only place I’ve found it in Milwaukee is Starship on 76th and Coldspring-ish. I think the last time I bought it there it was like twelve bucks. Problem is, most times they’re out of the color pink I use.
So I found a place online that sells it for less, around nine bucks. Even with shipping I could get two bottles for less than I’d pay at Starship.
Except that shipping has gone up so much it now costs seven dollars to ship a 4 oz, nine dollar bottle of dye.
WTF?
Taylor sold something on Ebay the other day.
The little calculator said it would be like ten bucks shipping.
Turns out – because the box was larger – to be twenty fucking four dollars to ship it.
So, yeah, he basically gave away a motorcycle trunk lid.
Not a huge deal since he’d just have tossed it out if it hadn’t sold but, still…
It irks me.

And then we have this mail carrier here…
The damned man shoves our mail into the fence half the time instead of putting it in the box. He delivers our packages to our downstairs neighbors. My outgoing mail will sit in the box for days sometimes cuz he can’t be bothered to check the box – not something you want to see happen in this sort of weather, yanno?
Grrr.
