Determined to enjoy my weekend.
Mostly by being lazy but I’ve found that utter laziness and do-nothingness makes it seem like wasted time so I’m interspersing the lazy with some fun and some productive.
Yesterday we had a parade to do. We belong to the Patriot Guard Riders – a group of folks who ride motorcycles and support the military by doing parades, welcome rides and standing guard at funerals against the likes of that asshat Fred Phelps.
Today, Taylor is having a tinker day and I? I am puttering, as well. I slept in a bit, cleaned the house a bit, went shopping a bit, jerked off a bit and am now chillin’ out with some iced coffee in my awesome new iced coffee cup, hair piled up and full of dye, pretty grass green polish ready to go on my toes. Then I’m going to pluck and wax and shave and bathe and lotion and powder and primp and when I look and smell like a wee piece of heaven, I think I shall seduce my dude.
Or maybe we’ll go for a ride. :)
Tomorrow we have two more parades and a bbq at our house. Then That Teen comes home and it’s back to normal…
I love full weekends. It really feels like you did a lot, hence had a lot of time off and that is the best feeling ever.
What are y’all doin’ for the holiday weekend?

I drink a lot of coffee, ride a motorcycle, have an 18 year old son and a decade long relationship that began in a chat room.

I don’t really celebrate the 4th. You, however, sound like you’ve got a great time planned. I hope you enjoy all of it and that you’re well-relaxed for next week. :-)
Sounds like a great weekend. Don’t stress about anything, and take the time to enjoy it. :) You deserve it.
Sounds like an amazing weekend! You deserve it! Enjoy Girl!
We are planning a drive to the summit of Ebbetts Pass and a picnic at Lake Alpine.
