G-swirl

It kind of freaks me out when I dislike a toy everyone else seems to like.

I question myself every time I dislike a sex toy in general.

Is it because I have so damned many of them?  Am I jaded?  Is it me or the toy?

With the G-swirl, it’s definitely me.  It’s a good vibrator.  All Fun Factory vibes are good and this one is a Fun Factory toy made exclusively for Good Vibes.  It’s typical, matte, velvety Fun Factory silicone over a thrummy, low pitched motor — which is my favorite sort of vibration.  I loathe buzzy, high pitched vibes.

The G-swirl is nicely textured, with swirls similar to soft serve ice cream running down it’s length — my favorite kind of texture, since it’s noticeable yet not so extreme that it hurts.  It has a flared base, making it anal safe.  The flared area vibrates really nicely against the labia an entire mons as you use it, another plus.

It has an insertable length of 4″, which is also excellent for me.  I’m not keen on super long toys.

It runs on 2AA batteries and has that wonderful Fun Factory dial control; not too easy to change settings so you aren’t bumping it mid use but easy enough to change them when you want to and it spins eternally.  I mean, you spin it to the right and it turns on and raises in vibration as you spin it, hits high about mid way around, then, instead of turning it left to go down and turn off, you continue turning right and it lowers in intensity and finally turns off.  I love that!

As I mentioned, the vibrations are low pitched, thuddy, deep.  They feel really good thru the dense silicone.

And yet, I still don’t personally like the G-swirl.

I believe it’s because of the hooked curve at the tip.  I prefer a gentle curve rather than a hook.  This extreme curve makes it quite uncomfortable to me.

So it’s not the toy.  The G-swirl is awesome.  It’s just not the right shape for me.  Those of you who like an extreme g-spot or p-spot hook?  Will love it.

Like  with all silicone toys, avoid silicone lube unless you do a patch test first.  It can react badly.  Clean with soap and water  - it’s water resistant so this is simple — or a mild bleach solution to sanitize.
