Not that long ago I reviewed some Intimate Organics Foot Foreplay lotion over on Eden Cafe. To say I was impressed with it is an understatement. I loved it. The scent, the performance, the packaging; all of it was superb. The only problem was I kept using it all over the place instead of on just my feet! Which meant I was using it up and using it up fast.
So I ordered more. More stuff. Like the cleansing gel and the body souffle and the massage oil, all in matching cocoa bean/goji berry scent. Mmmm. Heaven.
Like the foot cream, all the other Intimate Organics products are paraben free. They’re made with certified organic ingredients, are vegan and never tested on animals.
Let’s start with the cleansing gel. I, of course, got the cocoa bean/goji berry scent which reminds me of a tobacco shop. It smells, to me, like pipe tobacco. Slightly fruity yet warm and cocoa-y too. It’s nice. Warm and soft and light. The cleansing gel comes in an 8 oz plastic bottle and is a peachy colored, thinnish gel. Not thick like hair gel. Normal shower gel consistency, I guess. The bottle has a press up cap that snaps down securely so you don’t have spills and it’s easy to manage one handed.
The gel itself lathers really well. I’m always surprised when bath and body stuff I get on an “adult” site performs as well as typical bath and body store product but this one does. The lather is luxurious and thick, the scent is present but not overwhelming, it rinses clean, leaves you feeling soft with no residue. The aroma lingers on your skin for a bit after your shower or bath and scents the steamy room very pleasantly.
All in all, this product is definitely a winner and I’m as happy with it as I was the foot cream.
And the massage oil? Same scent, same type of bottle with the press up cap, only this is 4 oz instead of 8 and it’s tall and slender instead of squat.
No mineral oil in this so it’s a good for you oil; almond oil, sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, fragrance, aloe, all good stuffs.
It’s also a very light oil and works wonderfully for both massage and, as I tend to use it more often, after bath. I like to smooth it on my wet skin after a bath or shower and let it absorb in, locking in the moisture and leaving me silky smooth. This works really well for that. It also performs admirably for massage, reducing friction without feeling greasy, sinking into the skin but only after lasting for a good, long back rub. I think we managed over a half hour on a single, quarter sized bit of oil.
And the scent? Again, perfection. Warm and soft and slightly sweet but not nauseatingly so. It lingers very nicely on the skin leaving you smelling good and feeling even better for at least a few hours.
The great thing about this scent is, despite it’s slight sweetness, it’s neither masculine nor feminine. It’s just.. nice. And the taste isn’t too godawful, either. A few kisses on oiled skin isn’t going to leave you retching. You may not want to lap it up, but it’s tolerable.
Last but not least is the body souffle. I’m not sure it’s exactly souffle like but it is slightly whipped in appearance, almost pearlescent. The scent is the same, slightly chocolate-y, slightly fruity and yet not really foodlike.
I’m very pleased with this lotion as it’s thinner than the foot lotion was yet still thick, more of a cream than a lotion. It’s not greasy and doesn’t leave you feeling filmy and coated. In fact, it absorbs well and fast and a little goes a long way.
This bottle is different than the other two, more like the foot cream, in that it’s an inverted large tube with a screw off cover. Same discreetly sensual label on all the intimate organics with a dewy blade of grass and a sleek feminine torso, covered in drops of moisture. No excess packaging, either. Intimate organics products come in a plastic bag, taped shut to ensure no spillage and that is it. No waste material, no bulk. Simplicity at it’s best.
The lotion performs really well, easing dry skin and leaving you soft and lightly scented without being too much in either scent or heaviness. It may be a bit heavy for those with oily skin but anyone else should have no problem at all.
Taste on this is a bit more perfumey than it is with the oil.
All in all, I’m very impressed with Intimate Organics in general and these products in particular.
And now? I need to try the lubes and the other scents. Lemongrass/coconut and Fresh Orange/Wild Ginger sound just as heavenly as the ones I’ve tried.
Get yours where I get mine (and most of my sex toys, too!) Eden Fantasys carries the entire line, I believe and it’s no more costly than most other premium bath products.
In case the FTC is paying attention to my measley blog, this was not a free product. I paid for it myself and reviewed it because I love it.
