I’ve mentioned how much I love Whipspider Rubberworks silicone, right? And their whimsical designs? I told you about the Unicorn Horn, the Screw and the Mantoy? I have. I have. And today I’m going to talk about the Jellyfish.
Yes, Jellyfish. I told you they make whimsical stuff!
I’ve been lusting after the Jellyfish for a very, very long time. In fact, when we got our tax returns, I went on a… um… Whipspider spree and the Jellyfish was the first thing I put in my cart.
The Jellyfish is a highly textured dildo with a thick, ridged head, the entire thing covered with wonderfully accurate jellyfish details. It’s tentacle-y! The head looks like the bell of a real jellyfish. And it’s colors are absolutely amazing.
It starts with a blue base that swirls and whirls into pink and white and blue. All the shades are shimmery, almost alive in their depth and pearlescence. And the silicone? Delightfully squishy, wonderful to touch and squeeze, yet firm inside so that it has almost no flop.
The Jellyfish is large-ish, though, especially with it’s thick head that has a deep ridge all the way around it. It measures in at 7 inches long with a 1.75 inch diameter so, while it’s not super long, it is thick and likely not the best choice for a beginner.
The texture that covers every inch of the Jellyfish also makes it more of an advanced toy. You feel each nook, cranny, crevice, rise, ridge and swirl on this thing, making it almost sensory overload for the vagina unless you are a texture lover of the highest level.
For me, the Jellyfish ended up being a bit too much for thrusting of any sort. The ridged head catches on my pubic bone and the texture almost feels like it rubs me raw if I get too vigorous. I do, however, immensely enjoy using the Jellyfish, with it’s plush, satiny feel, to do slow thrusting, rotating and to simply squeeze around as I stimulate my clit.
Even if it didn’t work for me at all, I’d be happy about the purchase because it’s just so, so gorgeous to look at. And did I mention that it glows in the dark? It does! So long as you expose it to light for awhile, just like those stars for a child’s ceiling, when you turn off the light the shaft glows an eerie green, making it look even more swirled, alive and realistic. Very, very cool!
I did a video so you can see more detail. Enjoy! (or at least don’t get too irked by my incessant “ums”. :P)
Remember that the Jellyfish is a silicone sex toy and, as such, should be used only with water based lube unless you do a patch test to make sure it’s compatible with silicone lube. It’s flared base makes it anal safe and harness compatible, so long as your harness has an o-ring that will fit around it. Clean up with soap and water, a mild bleach solution or by boiling for a few minutes. Do pay close attention to all the crevices and, while a wipe or spray may suffice for a quick after use clean, it’s not going to get goop and lube out of all that texture. Clean your Jellyfish well so you can garner all the benefits of it’s body safe silicone!
A shout out has to go to Eden Fantasys for their amazing buy out program for us advanced reviewers, which gave me an incredible 30% off this dildo. I’d buy it even full price though. It’s just that good.

I recently got to review the Tentacle Jr for Eden Fantasys – another fucking awesome and fantasy inducing dildo from Whipspider Rubberworks. The review isn’t live yet but I wanted to share the pictures, at least. The Jr is similar to the original Tentacle only smaller, slimmer, with a less extreme hook to it, a [...]
