When a sex blogger, sex worker, anyone really, is “outted” to their place of employment the outrage is felt the internet over.
When a woman’s sex life or blog or chatroom activities are used against her in a custody battle, the outrage is felt the internet over.
What goes on in someone’s private life has nothing to do with their job or their family.
People deserve a private life.
Only their job performance should be considered by their employers. Only their parenting skills should be determined at family court.
And yet…
My job is always mentioned when I do something others don’t like.
It is as if I am different than anyone else, as if the same rules don’t apply to me.
Odd, that.
Odd and extremely hypocritical.
This is my space. I have a right to personal space and personal opinions. To BE a person.
Just like you do. If you believe your job or family to be separate from your blog/online interactions I would very much like to think you would also allow others the same.
I am not a company.
I am a girl with a blog. Same as you. And you. And you.
And now? I am going to take my guy up on the bath he offered earlier. I am going to let him pamper me, touch me, love me… and start this weekend off in the best way there is.

I drink a lot of coffee, ride a motorcycle, have an 18 year old son and a decade long relationship that began in a chat room.
