How did this happen? I look in the mirror and I am confused by the reflection of the image I see. Seriously, I am only 27 (in my mind at least) . With a 17 year old daughter I find myself at the condom stage as well. The solution for me was to introduce them in a fun and none awkward way – so I let the Easter Bunny do it. A basket full of condoms! Her expression was priceless.

Always, always! have condoms accessible, either just leave them on his dresser or hand them to him directly & ya really don’t have to say a word. lol.
My daughter just had a depo shot but she knows where the condoms are kept too. Gah, I try not to think about it too much, just keep buying them. Planned Parenthood is the cheapest evahhh–if you have one nearby. But they base it on my income & I’m a broke-ass ho. lol.

The coffee sounds incredible. I usually end up with duds when I veer away from my usual & I hate wasting money.

Awesome on the treadle machine–I have my great-grandmother’s Singer. It will sew thru leather like butter, my aunt used to do upholstery on it as well. They are TOUGH machines. I had to buy a new belt & couldn’t find it anywhere–until I went to an Amish community about 30 miles from here.

Okay, three things-

1. Garlicky little potatoes are yum.

2. You could always buy a pack and just…sneakily leave them on his dresser, where he can find them, but not ask about them, and just take them quietly, no discussion neccessary. lol

3. And I don’t think you should feel old, since seeing your avatar picture dealy on Eden, I always just thought you were in your 20′s. *shrug* =)

hey YOU feel old… hell woman.. Sir and i spent the day yesterday with baby grandson – who is gonna be 3 !!! my god talk about feeling OLD !!!

I would buy condoms if I were you, if you don’t mind the awkwardness of giving them to the boy. Or if he has money from an allowance or a job, pull him aside and tell him to buy some, just in case. I got some free condoms from a toy company that wanted me to promote them on my blog, and I gave like 3 to one of my nephews when I found out he’d lost his virginity. You just never know. *shrug*
