Lust, lust and then lust some more

Remember a couple weeks ago I reviewed some Lust for the Double O cream?  Remember how much I liked it?  I did.  I do.  It’s fantabulous!  Well, the Lust Cosmetics folks liked that I liked it, too, and they sent me another one as well as some Liquid Lust Arousal Mist and some Lust for Love Wanton Watermelon Edible Massage Oil.  I was in serious squeee zone when I opened the box.  I really liked the Double O cream and had been drooling madly over the edible massage oils.  (I’m on this flavored lube/massage oil kick. So sue me.)

Let’s start with the Arousal Mist, eh?  It’s fantastic!  Every bit as nice as the Double O cream only a bit more mild.  It’s water (and glycerin, so use care if you’re sensitive) based with menthol, capsicum and ginseng added to provide stimulating sensations.  And they do!

I’ve used quite a few warming and cooling lubes and Lust Cosmetics produce the best, by far.  This one is in spray form, which is super convenient as  you don’t have to get your hands in it if you don’t want to.  (It also works well if your guy likes to stand back, take aim and spray until you squirm)  It’s a thin mist that provides a very light lubrication and a very, very nice warm tingling sensation.  I’m not going to say that I get instantly in the mood with just a spritz but it does feel really good.  And it does make you hyper aware of your clit and entire vulva, depending on how and where you’ve sprayed it.

I like to spray it on before I’m going to masturbate because it keeps my focus on what I’m about to do and pushes me that one little step closer to being totally aroused and ready.

I also like to use it before we’re going to have penetrative sex, too.  We both work. We have dogs.  We have a teenager.  We have a LOT of quickies.  And I love quickies.  But sometimes I’m not quite ready.  This stuff gets me there when I don’t have time for a lot of foreplay but still really want to have sex.

And you know what?  Even though it’s thin and not really a “lube” it does spread and get more slick as you become more aroused.  The glycerin, I guess, being activated by my own wetness.  And yet it’s not so heavy that it bothers him, as some tingling lubes tend to do.  It doesn’t feel like a distraction.  It feels like a pleasant addition.

It also, oddly enough, doesn’t get sticky or tacky.  I know!  Amazing.  I had to double check the ingredients cuz I’d have sworn there was silicone in it but, no, there’s not.  (Which makes it usable with silicone toys!  yay!)

All in all?  A definite win.  And it’s more affordable than the cream, as well, at $16.99 for a 1 ounce bottle.  (I know even that seems costly but I’m guessing, by judging what I’ve used so far, that you’d get at least 50 uses out of this bottle, probably a lot more unless you’re going hog wild with it. And you don’t need to.  A spray or two lasts about fifteen, twenty minutes)

Ok.  On to the edible massage oil.  This actually isn’t an oil at all.  Again, it’s a glycerin based product with flavor added.  I’m also thinking it’s not really a “massage” oil so much as something to put on and lick off primarily your tender bits.  It’s also a one ounce bottle so it’s not going to be enough for an actual, full body massage.

It does, however, last plenty long if you’re using it as a flavored oral sex lube.  I am.  I did. I have.  Just a pump or two dispenses a dime or nickel sized dollop and is more than enough to slather on a dick.

It’s thin, clear and slightly sticky.  You definitely want to wipe down after using it – though it’s by no means an icky mess or anything.  It just leaves you feeling a little tacky.

The taste, however, makes up for that completely.

Tastes GOOD.  I mean seriously good.  I mean I’ve sat at my desk, pumped a dollop onto the back of my hand, rubbed it in a little and licked it up.  Repeatedly.  Just cuz it tastes good.

I got the watermelon and it tastes more like watermelon candy than an actual watermelon.  Maybe a bit like a watermelon flavored juice?  Like if they made Lifewater watermelon flavored.  It’s light and sweet with zero, zilch, NO aftertaste.

And as another plus, it warms slightly when you rub on it or blow on it.

Hands down this is the best flavored product I’ve ever tried.  Hands down.
