I was thinking, after a conversation with someone yesterday…
In a lot of D/s relationships the submissive is restricted from having an orgasm withour permission or without certain parameters having been met. And while that can be a very useful tool – or just plain enjoyable for the Dominant who is weilding the power over her pleasure and the submissive who is submitting to his power – part of me feels like constant denial would work oppositely to how it’s intended to work.

Doms often think that keeping a woman in need, keeping her hungry and wanting that orgasm will make her a drooling, needy, sex starved, always willing partner.

I’ve discovered that, for me, it has the opposite effect in the long run. The longer I go without, the less I need it.

But feed me regularly and I want more and more. Good sex, good play, good orgasms… they all just keep my desires strong, make me want more. Satisfaction is good, great, terrific… but it’s never enough. Give me a little and I want a lot. Give me a lot and my brain will focus almost constantly on wanting more of what was so good.

A starving person thinks less about food than the fat man who can’t wait for lunch break.
