Plans
So we’re still not entirely sure where we’re going for our mini vacation. We’re thinking about staying closer to home – which will mean less time on the road, more time relaxing.
I do know it’s going to be uber romantic, though. I must have the romance! Heh.
Today I got a HUGE order of sensual and romantic products in the mail, hoping to guarantee that it is.
I’m sitting here looking at:
- 1 Lelo Massage Candle (snow pear and cedar)
- 3 Afterglow Candles (bourbon, dark vanilla, lychee &lapsang)
- 1 Little Afterglow Sampler – yes, I bought another one – with six mini candles in it
- 1 Bwarm massage candle (rose and patchouli)
- 2 sets of body paints
- Hundreds of silk rose petals
- Kama Sutra Bath Salts
- Multiple scents and varieties of massage oils and lotions
- Rose petal soap flakes
I’ve also been hoarding Lelo Accessories so we have all sorts of soft, sexy bondage things to play with, too. Blindfolds and floggers and ticklers and three kinds of cuffs and silk straps. Nothing hard core. This weekend is about relaxation, feeling sexy and being romantic – not bloody beatings and 40 hour bondage sessions. I’m dubbing it Sensual Getaway 2010.
I think…
We’re going to end up pruney from the baths and oily from the massages and too tired to go to dinner! It’s a damned good thing we’ll be able to get room service.
I fully intend to rub, bathe, fuck and play ourselves into boneless heaps, recognizable only by the color of our hair under our hotel robes.
Next month can’t come soon enough…

I need some plans like these!
Sounds delicious. I didn’t even know LELO made candles. Definitely going to need to try them.
I’ll second Sarahbear – I had no idea LELO made them! Carrie Ann, you have NO idea how much money I end up spending because of your blog! I’m still trying to justify the $100 I spent on Swede products (including their massage candle, some bodyjams, fruity lube, massage oils, flower power oils…) last week!
ooh, and I’m curious to see what you think of the Bourbon Afterglow candle…it’s the first one I haven’t liked. It smelled almost smoky and musty to me…more like somewhere you’d drink bourbon than the bourbon itself.
Oh! I actually tried it in the afterglow sampler and liked it, ordered a big one. It is kind of smoky smelling to me, but sweet and it blended really well with the dark vanilla.
Weird how our noses all work differently, eh?
Hmmm…I don’t really pick up the sweet in the Bourbon BUT I’m definitely going to try burning it simultaneously with the Dark vanilla now…that just might balance out the too-deep of the bourbon for me.
Lovely plans! I was actually thinking of trying to plan something similar in December, when I have 10 days off work… Snow & hottubs is what I am hoping for!
I really liked the way the bourbon one smells. I wasn’t expecting to because I don’t care for bourbon (or it’s scent) but the candle is warm, rich and velvety. I hope you enjoy your much-needed vacation, I’m sure it can’t get here soon enough for you!
