Saturday Babbling

Yawnnnn   Strechhhhhh.  What a lazy Saturday.

The laptop didn’t show up until almost seven last night.  Talk about dragging out the anticipation.  Sheesh.  FedEx is a sadistic company.

All in all, though, I was pretty impressed.  I ordered it on Tuesday after the close of normal business hours and had it in my greedy lap by Friday.

And now I won’t put it down.  Hehe.  I’m spending the day puttering around on it, bein’ lazy.

Vista is weird, btw.  Mostly it seems normal and fine and then all of a sudden it smacks you with something that just confuses the shit out of ya.

So…

On to other stuffs…

Whoa.  I got nothing.

Well, we are going camping next weekend.  Going to hop on the motorcycle with a group of friends (on their own motorcycles, of course) and head north.  Gonna spend the day on the water, in kayaks, once we get there, camp for the night (yay, s’mores and beer!) then head home the next day.  I’ll bet after all that sunshine and water, we’ll be exhausted!

Not a whole lot else going on.  It’s getting to be that end of summer time when the focus is mainly back on the Teen going back to school — which will be nice for me! — and doing last minute summer things.

I thought I was looking forward to fall but it’s been in the sixties here the past three days or so and I’m actually COLD.  Stupid thyroid.  The underactive thyroid makes one intolerant to cold but, damn it, it’s not even cold yet!

I do, however, have an urge to make soup because I feel cold.

And so I think it’s time to go beg Taylor nicely to take me to the store to get the fixin’s.

I’ll probably post a bunch of reviews again this weekend so, fair warning to those of you who don’t like to read them.
