Grocery shopping stresses me out.

Not the actual shopping bit.  Picking out the food is sorta fun.  But then?  You have to unload the cart.  Bag the food.  Put the bags in your cart.  Take the bags out of the cart and put them in the car.  Take them out of the car.  Trudge them up 37 stairs.  Take the food out of the bags.  Put is all away.  And then cook something cuz you’re bleeping starved after all of that!

It gives me a headache every time.

Oh well.  I got a half ton of groceries so at least I don’t have to do it again for a week or so.

Not much else to say today.  I’m impatiently waiting for a bath set I’m going to be reviewing soon.  Bubble bath, another vibrating sponge, a massage candle, a waterproof erotic book…

I’m so totally going to put Taylor in the tub, light the candle, hand him the book and let him read while he soaks then scrub him up good and clean, dry him off, take him and the candle to bed and give him a massage.  I’ve been wanting one of those candles for freaking ever.

Giving him a bath is one of the “service” type things I like to do best.  I wonder if he knows that?  Too often it’s just a quick scrub – which isn’t as fun as pampering him – and I tend to act less enthused about it.

I hate that.

Why do we do that?  I know I’m not the only one.  We all have service type things we really like to do and would be crushed if they stopped having us do them and too often we don’t act nearly as happy about doing them as we should.

I think I’m going to make it a point to work on that.

Showing I’m glad to be doing something instead of just doing it.  Cuz, that’s important, yanno?

It’s like saying I love you vs showing someone you love them.  Both are important but words are cheap and actions often harder – hence they often mean more.maninbath

  3. Yay! I’m SO glad it’s not an error here and that you figured it out. yay yay yay! :)

A massage candle is a candle that burns warm, not hot. It’s usually got soy and a lot of oils in it. When it’s burned long enough to create a pool of “wax” you blow it out and use that “wax” as massage oil. It’s warm, not hot, and it rubs in like an oil instead of coating like a normal wax. They look SO cool.
