I’ve always been impressed with the Climax Silicone toys; I already have the Wavy G and the Ribbed G from that line so when Adam and Eve offered me the Splash Dolphin I was all over it. C’mon. An all silicone (it passes the flame test) dildo shaped like a dolphin, complete with dolphiny nose and little flippers? You know it’s cute!
And it is! It’s 6 inches long, 4 of which are instertable. That doesn’t sound like much, I know, but because this little bugger has a pointy dolphin snoot, I don’t think any longer would be good. Too cervix jarring to have that pointed nose on a long shaft. The 1.5 inch girth is just about perfect.
The Splash Dolphin has, beyond the pointed nose (is it a nose, on a dolphin?) a shaft that bulges out slightly with a tiny bit of ribbing in the form of fins. It ends in a swooping loop that works really well as a handle but also holds an included, push button style mini bullet.
The silicone of the toy is more satiny than matte, but not shiny. The bullet is velvet coated or something so that it, too, feel like silicone , though I don’t think it is. The Dolphin is firm yet flexible and perfect for thrusting, though I didn’t have much luck g-spotting with it.
The bullet is your typical watch battery taking bullet; strong and mighty but not very long lasting. It does transmit vibrations well thru the shaft of the toy when used in the handle but is also handy to use against your clit as you thrust the toy, using the handle as a handle.
Because it’s silicone it can be shared; either between partners or orifices. It’s base/handle is such that anal play is certainly safe. Just boil for a few minutes, put it in the top rack of your dishwasher with no soap or bleach it to sanitize. Not sharing? Soap and water will do.
Use only water based lubes with this dildo as silicone lube can react badly with silicone sex toys. Or, do a spot test on the handle to see if your brand of silicone is compatible. (some are)
Adam and Eve has this and many other silicone sex toys to choose from — so if the pointy nose or cuteness of the dolphin aren’t your thing, it’s easy to find something that is.
