Sugar in the Raw and Hot Monkey Sex

So I just brewed myself a huge mug of coffee (pour over – meh, not as good as press) on a night I said I wasn’t going to do coffee and was going to sleep early.

Why?  Because I did fall asleep early and woke up from a horrible dream feeling like absolute death.

Bugs and demons and haunted houses and it sounds stupid but I kept waking up then falling back into the same dream and it freaks me out when that happens! I was trying to wake myself from the dream in the dream and it was all really scary.

So now I am up and not at all wanting to sleep and so…

Coffee.  And a blog. Yay me.

I am sort of depressed about my blog, you know.  I just don’t have much time for it lately and, while I am insanely proud of how well Eden Cafe is doing, I’m also a bit jealous.  As its numbers rise (and rise and rise, holy shit!) mine here fall and fall.

*sigh*

Then again, just a few months ago I was bitching about feeling like I *had* to blog  because of my stats and not wanting to lose readers and blah blah blah and at least I’ve gotten out of that rut.  Now, I blog when I have time and when I don’t…  fuck it.  I don’t.

But, still, I miss having time.  I do.

I also miss having stuff to blog about.  I was so much deeper when I was a housemouse!

The job, however, is going well.  It’s been a year now and, while it’s stressful at times — all jobs are — I really can’t complain.  I get to work in my underwear, for fucks sakes.

This weekend is a nice, long weekend off though.  As, actually, is next.

Next weekend I’m taking off at noon and I’m outta here for a campground in the woods, on the back of the bike, and once we get there I’m going to drink massive amounts of campfire coffee, become saturated with the scent of wood smoke, canoe my ass off, hike and eat smores.  I am, I am.

This weekend it will be cleaning, reviews, getting stuff ready for next and overall relaxation — possibly a nice, long ride and festival on Sunday.

Speaking of reviews, I just placed an order for a bunch of stuff using gift cards I got for doing video reviews and it’s ALL stuff I’ve already reviewed.  Yay!  I love orders that have no pressure to review attached.  Mostly bath and body products, massage stuff, etc.  I already have a list 35 long of stuffs to review and companies that are probably pisssed at my tardiness so I certainly didn’t need to add more to the list!

I also have some sort of lump on my breast. Underneath, just above the bra line.  It’s red and inflammed and disgusting.  Probably a cyst that is turning into an abscess.  Warm compresses are my friend. If it’s not better by Monday, I’ll have to hit the ER.  Ugh.

I’m thinking I got animal hair or powder or something inside/under the skin that got infected.  I get really raw under my breasts sometimes – man, I often wish I had a smaller chest  – and it wouldn’t surprise me if something icky got into the broken skin at some point.

I swear, with my health/body, it’s always something.

On a happier note, I couldn’t get my usual organic sugar last time I shopped so I got some sugar in the raw.  It entertains me.  Such big crystals!  I really get a kick out of using it; it’s like sprinkling the foam on my cappuccino with chopped up rock candy.  And in regular coffee, I get to stir it up and watch it dissolve.  Neat!

And that, I think, is all the babbling I have for tonight.

That Teen is gone for the weekend – Woot! – and I’m thinking bath, then hot monkey sex.
