Today? Was like a double Monday.

Man, the first day back after a long weekend is always so, so, so, so. SO fucking awful.

Our weekend was fantastic.  The ride on Sunday was exciting and sunny and hot.  The ride on Monday was emotional and rainy and hot. Both days were spent with excellent friends who I love – seriously love enough that my heart gets squishy and warm and soft when I think about them.  Both days were also spent meeting new friends; some we’ll see again, some that we won’t.  That fleeting, ten minute friendship and connection you find with someone is one of the coolest things ever.  It makes you wonder if you’d asked for their number, email, facebook, if you’d found a way to connect again, would it be as good?  Or was it so sweet because it was a short moment in time where you each connected and because it will never be repeated?

I’m talking about friendly conversation here, by the way, moments spent with nice people, not sex stuff.

The lack of sex stuff makes me boring, doesn’t it?  Don’t lie. I know.

So the weekend was good and then…

Work today was a nuthouse.

It’s weird, yanno?  On weekends, I’m trying to get some time off, some chill time.  And yet, on weekends, everyone else is trying to catch up on reviews and write posts for Eden Cafe and get their videos uploaded.  And so when I come back on Monday — or in this case, Tuesday — it’s pure insanity.

Oh well. Tomorrow will be better.  And it’s a short week, cuz we’re taking off on Friday to go camping.  Though, of course, that means next Monday will be insane, as well.  Totally worth it, though.

Not much else going on.  I’m mostly ignoring online stuff other than work because I’m tired of being stressed over it.

Oh.  I got crazy amounts of loot today!  That was the only thing that really made today good.
