Anyone who has read more than one post on my blog knows that I’m a candle fanatic. It ties in with my love of bath stuff and massage oils and anything that smells good. All of these things mean pampering to me; me time, time to indulge myself, time to relax, breathe deep, refocus.
I’ve tried a lot of candles. I burn everything from hand made, highly scented soy candles my mom makes to Yankee candles to Dollar Store candles. So long as it smells good, I’m happy.
It’s always nicest to have a soy based candle. Soy wax burns cleaner, cooler and longer than paraffin based or bees wax based candles and seems to carry the scents better, as well.
Recently, I discovered a new brand of mood candles over at Eden Fantasys. They’re called Scent of Scandal and they come in freaking FABULOUS scents with the most amusing names. From Two Timer (chocolate and vanilla) to Casting Couch (leather), Original Sin (fig leaf) to One Night Stand (margarita) they all have scandalous names and really great scents.
So far I’ve tried the margarita, leather and vanilla/chocolate and each has been ahhhhmaaaazing.
The scents are not overpowering but do scent a small room. They burn clean and last a long time. They’re a bit spendy but, again, pampering and indulging rarely come cheap. :)
If you love candles as much as I do, you should absolutely try these!
