You can fancy it up…
…with a pretty package and a catchy name, but Folgers coffee is still Folgers coffee.
Nearly undrinkable, stale and nasty.
“Fresh beans” apparantly means nothing but unground beans and the only person who could possibly find them fresh would have to have been stuck on a deserted island for the past ten years with no coffee at all.
Ugh.
Here is the rule:
No coffee may be purchased at the grocery store ever, ever again.
Don’t get me wrong. I don’t expect to get coffee that was roasted yesterday every time I buy coffee from Starbucks or Caribu or Travelin’ Joes or even Alterra.
But it’s GOT to be fresher than the nasty ass stuff Folgers is packaging. Or the old ass beans that have been sitting on the shelf in the grocery for eighteen months.
Say it with me, kids.
No more grocery store coffee!
